NAUCZYCIELE

 

We investigated how much food waste is produced in Kristiansund and tried to find out how this waste is treated, processed and possibly used for something else through reuse processes and source separation. We talked to the municipality that manages waste management through the company Re:Midt and we used a lot of statistics to find out how environmentally friendly and sustainable this business is in our municipality. We found that a good deal of waste goes to reuse, but that the inhabitants of Kristiansundproduce quite a bit more waste than the average person in Norway. It would be important to take a closer look at this and do something about it.
