Środek transportu, jakim jest prom, zapewnił nam poznanie oceanicznego klimatu, który okazał się niezwykle stymulujący i rześki. Również przejażdżka autokarem była prawdziwą prezentacją norweskiego krajobrazu – wijących sią dróg, również podziemnych pośród skał, łąk i akwenów. We wtorek poznaliśmy wyspę Smøla, gdzie odwiedziliśmy Centrum Akwakultury "Nekton". Kompleks Gurisentret to miejsce oferujące ciekawe wystawy i szczycące się jedną z najpiękniejszych w Norwegii scen plenerowych. To niezwykłe miejsce ma kształt greckiego amfiteatru i jest między innymi areną corocznego wydarzenia Fru Guri av Edøy – najgorętszej norweskiej zabawy na świeżym powietrzu. W centrum znajduje się centrum wystawowe poświęcone akwakulturze i hodowli łososia, kawiarnia z panoramicznym widokiem na średniowieczny kościół Edøy i fjord Edøyfjord. Oprócz wizyty w budynku centrum największą atrakcją było płynięcie łodzią typu RIB (rigid inflatable boats). Niewinnie zapowiadająca się przejażdżka pontonem okazała się ekstremalnym, pełnym wrażeń przeżyciem. W tym samym czasie nauczyciel z Kolegium Europejskiego odwiedzili Veiholmen, urokliwą wioskę przynależną do gminy Smøla. Niegdyś największa wioska rybacka w Norwegii jest dzisiaj znana nie tylko z latarni Haugjegla, ale pielęgnowania spuścizny poławiaczy. Dziedzictwo przyszłości - dawne domy rybackie, niektóre z emblematem parasolki do suszenia ryb, sąsiaduje z biznesem łowieckim, który ma się dobrze. Wioska żyje nadal, choć świetlaną przeszłość ma już za sobą. Wizyta w tym miejscu to nie tylko tradycja i kultura, ale również doznania kulinarne. Skosztowanie potrawy z wieloryba zapisze się na długo w naszej pamięci.
The means of transportation, the ferry, provided us with an experience of the oceanic climate, which proved to be extremely stimulating and crisp. Also, the bus ride was a true presentation of the Norwegian landscape - winding roads, also underground among rocks, meadows and bodies of water. On Tuesday we explored the island of Smøla, where we visited the "Nekton" Aquaculture Center. The Gurisentret complex is a place that offers interesting exhibitions and boasts one of Norway's most beautiful outdoor stages. This unmissable place is shaped like a Greek amphitheater and is, among other things, the arena for the annual Fru Guri av Edøy event - Norway's hottest outdoor party. The center features an exhibition center dedicated to aquaculture and salmon farming, a café with panoramic views of the medieval Edøy Church and the Edøyfjord. Aside from a visit to the center's building, the biggest attraction was a ride on a RIB (rigid inflatable boats). The innocuous promising pontoon ride turned out to be an extreme, thrilling experience. At the same time, a teacher from the College of Europe visited Veiholmen, a charming village belonging to the Smøla municipality. Once the largest fishing village in Norway, it is today known not only for its Haugjegla lighthouse, but for nurturing the legacy of its fishermen. The legacy of the future - old fishing houses, some with the umbrella emblem for drying fish - is adjacent to a hunting business that is doing well. The village is still alive, although its bright past is behind it. A visit here is not only about tradition and culture, but also a culinary experience. Tasting the whale dish will remain in our memory for a long time.
